BECOME A MACSA PATIENT

In order to become MACSA patient, you just need to go through a few easy steps:

1) PREPARING DOCUMENTS:

First of all, you need to prepare the medical records, including pathology reports, scans and imaging (such as CT Scan, MRI, PET Scan, Ultrasound, endoscopy). These documents help us to diagnose and determine the exact type of disease and. As well, your treatment records, like reports of surgeries and prescriptions, are required. Please make sure to bring the identification documents of the patient at the first appointment.

2) Who should visit?

The patient, caregivers or any relative or friend who is precisely aware of the latest conditions of the patient.

 3) WHERE AND WHEN TO VISIT MACSA?

To register in MACSA, visit either our centers in Isfahan or Tehran. With your help, we hope to be soon able to extend our services to all cities in Iran.
You can plan your first appointment any time between Saturday to Wednesday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and on Thursdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Our centers are open only within the working days. Since your first appointment is a precise and timely process, we recommend to visit at early hours.

4) FIRST INTERVIEW:

When you arrive to MACSA, after completing a few forms at the reception, a physician will check your documents and interview you to determine current status of the diseases. As well, a psychologist will interview you to assess the psychological conditions and needs of the patient and his/her family. Furthermore, other interviews may also take place on the first appointment. The MACSA care team, after these interviews, will design palliative care plan for the patient and the family.

5) WELCOME TO MACSA!

Now you are a MACSA patient. You might be referred for various services of MACSA by the care planning team or enter the waitlist for the services you assess as necessary. From now, we are the family of MACSA, together against cancer.
