I want to volunteer
Many thanks for your attention and your willingness to join our Volunteers Unit, we sincerely hope to have the opportunity to work with you. Even if, for any reason, there was no opportunity, our appreciation won’t be diminished.
To sign up as a volunteer, you need to complete the volunteership form. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes of your time. After completing this form, your information, abilities, interests, and your free time will be checked at the MACSA Volunteers Unit and you’ll be contacted if you meet the needs and current plans. Please read the following notes before completing the form:
- You must be at least 18 years old to join our Volunteers Unit.
- Being a member of our Volunteers Unit is subject to obeying the laws of the IR Iran.
- Activities that are defined for volunteers may include specialized activities (such as nursing services) or general ones (such as typing or educational stuff). Co-operation may also take place regularly (for example, working with a specific unit on a particular day of the week). In addition, for some activities — like translating — there is no need for physical presence of a volunteer at the center. Notice that these are based on your interests, your schedule, and with regard to our needs.
- In order to be able to do your volunteering well, you need to learn more about it or even take special training courses. In these cases, the terms and conditions of the training will be provided by the MACSA Volunteers Unit. It is possible to provide tutorials at MACSA opening hours.
- Those fighting with cancer or any of their relatives should consult with the Psychology Department before starting volunteering.
