Provision of Care Equipment

One of the most important concerns of patients and their families through the course of disease is providing necessary medical equipment. As the patient may move between various settings of care, like hospital and home care, this need varies from time to time. The high costs of medical devices on one hand and the technical complexity of these equipment on the other, may prevent the patient and/or the family from choosing the home care, while home is the desirable place of care for many patients and families.

MACSA aims to relieve the burden of patients and their families by eliminating this concern. We provide and lend such necessary medical equipment completely free of charge, to assure that every patient who desire to receive care at home, afford the necessary equipment needed for a comfortable stay.

The technical specifications of the equipment are determined according to the expert opinion and palliative medicine doctor and based on the patient’s needs. The patients or their caregivers are taught how to set up, configure and maintain devices at the time of delivery.

All equipment and devices that MACSA provides to patients, are dedicated to MACSA as gift-in-kind.
