Physical health, Mental wellbeing, social identity, inner peace, and many other aspects of a person’s life are affected when faced by a cancer diagnosis. The consequences are not limited to the patient, but also the whole family experience a tough time as encounter with the disease. Palliative and supportive care is an interdisciplinary approach to care for people with serious disease, focusing on the physical, psychological, social and spiritual dimensions of quality-of-life that can be provided in parallel to curative treatment or independently.

MACSA as the pioneer of palliative and supportive care in Iran, provides a wide spectrum of interdisciplinary care services to the cancer patients, their caregivers and the family, completely free of charge. Our services are provided in various settings, including home based care, inpatient and outpatient clinics, rehabilitation clinic, call center and support network.
